Once you have left Ukraine, you can travel to the Netherlands without a visa for the first 90 days. Do you arrive via an airport or port and have a Ukrainian passport or a permanent Ukrainian residence permit? If so, you may not be placed in a closed reception centre at Schiphol Airport. If you fall under the Temporary Protection Directive (TPD), you have a personal number. You need this number in the Netherlands to arrange personal matters. This is called a Dutch citizen service number (BSN).
It is possible to leave the Netherlands temporarily. For example, to go on holiday. If you want to leave the Netherlands temporarily, you must announce this in advance to the municipality where you are staying.
