The University of Groningen is again offering a free online course to learn Dutch. The course is for anyone who wants to learn Dutch. You can join if you speak English but not yet Dutch.
The course is for anyone who does not speak Dutch yet
The Dutch beginner's course lasts 3 weeks and is intended for anyone who wants to learn to speak Dutch. You do not need any knowledge of the Dutch language to start, but you do need to speak English. You take the course online. You will need about 3 hours per week to follow and study the course.
During the course you will learn the basics of the Dutch language
During the course you will learn:
Short Dutch sentences
New words
Greetings
Numbers
Spelling and grammar
You will also learn about Dutch culture. During the lessons, you watch short films in which you learn more about living in the Netherlands.
