Pick up your proof of residence from the IND
If you do not yet have proof of residence from the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) in your passport, this may have consequences for your work and place in a reception centre. Via the appointment planner you can arrange an appointment to collect your proof from the IND.
Making an appointment via the appointment planner
The Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) is calling on Ukrainians in the Netherlands to quickly pick up their proof of residence. This proof of residence is a sticker you place in your passport. This sticker entitles you to temporary protection in the Netherlands at least until 4 March 2024. You need a sticker in your passport to show that you are allowed to live and work in the Netherlands. Around 17,000 people have not yet picked up a sticker from the IND.
You can use the appointment planner to arrange an appointment with the IND to pick up your sticker.

Consequences without a sticker
If you do not have a sticker, you're not entitled:
Living allowance
Place in a reception centre
Medical care
Education (for children)
The sticker is also important if you are going to travel. At border controls, the Dutch proof of residence ensures that you cannot be sent back to unsafe Ukrainian territory.
If you want to know if you are entitled to temporary protection and what else you need to arrange if you fall under the Temporary Protection Directive, check out the "Temporary Protection Directive" page on RefugeeHelp.
