RefugeeHelp for all refugees in the Netherlands
RefugeeHelp will be a website for all refugees in the Netherlands. An initial version of the new RefugeeHelp went online on Wednesday, 21 December. Until now, the website was only for refugees from Ukraine. Behind the scenes, the website has been expanded to also provide important information to asylum seekers and refugees with status.
Languages
After Russia invaded Ukraine, many refugees from Ukraine came to the Netherlands. To help best provide them with information, VluchtelingenWerk Nederland (VWN) together with partners launched the RefugeeHelp website. On it, refugees from Ukraine can find important information in their own language.
The website has been expanded to properly assist all refugees in the Netherlands. The expansion of RefugeeHelp is available in:
Dutch
English
Arabic
Tigrinya
Turkish
French
Farsi
Somali
The number of languages (and dialects) will continue to expand in the coming year. The page for refugees from Ukraine will continue to be available in Dutch, English, Ukrainian and Russian.
Extension
The amount of information also continues to grow. For example, all refugees in the Netherlands will soon be able to read about:
Taking care of their finances
The mandatory civic integration
finding work
